Does anybody have any experience with this stuff?
http://www.usahardware.com/ine...1.htm
My daily has a tranny leak somewhere, and in his wisdom my dad bought this stuff off ebay in the hopes of curing the problem.
I've no knowledge or experience of it, I don't know whether it might be a short term band-aid or if it's totaly crap. Any advice or experience welcomed
to keep it Type-R related, here is a real one:

actually I see two real ones and a red fakeR
I've never used those things and have always been really wary of them. My friends have used those types of things before but they didn't keep the cars much longer afterwards, not that those are related.

From my years of experience using leak fix additives, they never live up to their advertising gimick. On the other hand, they change the effectiveness of the original oil. My 2 cents, don't use them.
^^^ I agree, thee are lots of small crevices and odd oil paths in a transmission, I'd be very hesitant to put something in there that claim to fix something by upping the effective viscosity, or an even scarier proposition of something that precipitates out, and binds up to seal something.
