Default CRX front end question

So I am currently in Iraq... found this CRX online and had the wife picked it up.

I've never seen it in person obviously... and all I have to go off are the pictures my wife took.

Something on the front end doesn't look right to me... and no it's not the fact that it's white. LOL

The front bumper looks weird to me and the headlights seem to be sitting in a little further than normal.

Looking at the pictures of the engine bay I didn't notice any signs of an accident. IE: Pushed in radiator support / etc...

Is this front bumper off an EF hatch possibly?

Does something look different to you? Maybe its just me.. lol

Thanks in advance

No clue man. You can't really see the engine bay. But it does look like it has been pieced together. So it either got hit, or if your lucky it had a jdm front end that the previous owner removed.

Anyways its a oem crx front end nothing unusual.

nha bro i its just a pieced front end cuz your driver fender is off a 88-89 crx because of the white little tabs that the corner lights screw in but your radiator support is straight so it might of been that it had a jdm front end and they but another front on

it does look like it has jdm headlights, its missing the front lip, front end is off from a crx, the crx fenders are smaller, the hatch are a lil bigger

Still debating on if I should paint it now (find a front lip and figure out why the headlights are tucked in) or if I should just buy a JDM front end...

$1,000 + shipping.... ouch

Nope you should wait till you get home. then when you have actually seen it take it from there. I guess you could buy a jdm front end and then have it painted. I mean your making all that tax free combat pay.

The hood on those other pics looks a little off. It might of had some very minor front end collision. Maybe the actual bumper isnt there...just a guess.

That front end could all be certifit...which means it fits like ****. I have oem parts and once you take it all apart it can be a pain in the *** to get it all back together nice and neat.

It looks like it's been in an accident. Obviously the front end has been piece together. Hood hinge on the right side looks like it's bent & headlights aren't right either. It can take a keen eye to pick out damage on a radiator support sometimes. You have no picks of that so one can only assume that it's bent somewhere as it doesn't match the hood or the bumper(too low & too far in).

You don't know what your talking about. The bumper is in the right place, the headlights are the issue. Usually on a CRX front end crash the breaks are full on and the car dives under the rear bumper of the other car, causing damage to the hood, headlights & if it's hard enough damage to the radiator support.
