Default Goodbye 2006 Acura RSX

Hey everyone, I just bought a 2008 civic ex coupe as a result of me getting hit by a drunk driver, and totaling my beautiful RSX... =/

I am still bothered by it, but at least I got a civic EX which is somewhat close to it...

I wish ACURA/Honda would have still made them...

If you really liked your RSX and aren't as satisfied with the Civic, why didn't you get another one?

I loved my RSX, but since they stopped making them I wasn't going to buy a used one...

I love my civic, I think a tad bit more than my RSX as i get more used to it...

RSX was a great car, and we had a great run... but Now my CIVIC is starting to grow on me... :]

I think because the functionality, and i have an EX so the stereo system is a lot nicer....

I feel comfort in driving my civic, and since 2006 the 8th gen is very nice looking...

THE RSX was my first car, and my dream car always, but I think I have found it's replacement to keep me happy...

{ i will post pix of the accident }

I take it your RSX was a base model? was it auto or mt? what else do you like better over the dc5? Tell us what you think of rsx vs the civic in terms of the over all car?

You had a base RSX...that's why you like your Civic just as well.

Still though, the dashboard on the new Civic sucks. I can't stand not being able to see the hood nor having a windshield that massive.

My RSX Was a BASE automatic...

The differences between the civic and the RSX... well..

the RSX it was nice, but minor things could have been better such as the control steering wheel with volume and scanning through stations/tracks.. The civic EX has that..

I also had an immediate problem with my RSX about a week or two after I had bought it. My suspension was making a creeking noise when i would turn and it sounded like the Titanic.. (which was weird) I have yet to have a problem with my Civic.

In terms of quality it's all the same... and with convenience the Civic beats the RSX, because the stereo system is better, the sound control, the comfort and size on the interior.

I am kind of weird when it comes to cares and comparing, but I think of the civic as my RSX pt2, because its the same just more of an upgrade I would say... ?

( some may disagree )

I am not interested in STICK models, I also have tried learning, and it's very hard for me to drive a stick.. (due to a small disability) aswell...

Automatic for me.. :]
