Who here auto-x's their RSX's?

 

you mean...NO ONE here auto-x's their RSX?

 

There's like 4 RSX owners on this board. U'd be better off to ask this question on the RSX Club msg board.... (sorry mods )

 

I might be auto X my RSX soon. Im waiting for them to start here in AZ.. I need times and dates on when they start..

 

I only have RSX parts, but I will be autocrossing mine soon (I hope.)

I think most RSX owners like to street race rather than ACTUALLY race... but that's just my opinion.

Though I did see one RSX Type S AutoX in Atlanta. He was stock, and maybe a novice, but I'm pretty sure I beat his times by a few seconds in my mostly stock 98 Integra GS(I'm a novice too btw). Not too impressive. He was also downshifting into first after most corners(or at least it sounded like it). Must like the mAd VTeC SoUNdZ y0!

I've seen another one with DSP on his car, but I've never actually seen him run.

 

Well keep an eye out for me, I want to start autox my RSX. Well good luck guys.

 

actually, i prefer road racing, budget is preventing more track time, but i love it, and the rsx does great in the twisties..

 

There was an RSX TypeS at the Philadelphia region autoX yesterday running in D stock. I've never seen him there before, so I believe he was a novice. I think he went OC on every single run...

The RSX TypeS probably wouldn't really be a competive car in D Stock where it would have to contend with ITRs and BMWs... But I think the RSX TypeS would make a great STS car - good weight, decent torque, great aftermarket support...

Aftermarket LSDs are not legal in STS. If you put an LSD in it, you'd be in DSP where the RSX would be outclassed by just about everything.

I want a LSD for my S. I can get a new type R LSD for 15oo.oo in La, maybe I should get that next.

Patric Ewing and tsunami_zc: You guys have got to be kidding, right?

The Base RSX could be an extremely competitive car in G Stock. And the TypeS probably has the best power to weight ratio of any car eligable for the STS class... (Can you think of any better?)

Either RSX would be an excellent platform to build a competitive autoX car from IMO (and no I don't own an RSX).
