I have kind of a hodge podge of poly motor mounts in my car right now and I want to get everything the same eventually but I was curious about whether or I should still use the torque mounts if I already have polyurethane motor mounts? I ended up filling them with 3M window weld since they were so horribly mashed up since the previous owner failed to buy the right mount when he swapped in a m/t. I have the a/t to m/t mount on the way, but it just seems like over kill to have the torque mounts on. Just curious to hear what everyone else has done for this.

 

use them... they are there for a reason

 

well that's what i figured but if i remember right, i dont think that they were on the last civic i own but then again that was awhile ago!

 

there are horror stories of peoples mounts breaking and their motors dropping... you dont want that, so use the torque mounts

 

that would be the only reason why i was going to keep them in.
