weird sound.
I have a 99 civic ek and When I start my car and when its warmed up I hear a rattling sound near the timing belt area. It could be the timing belt but my car has 70,000 thousand miles on it. any suggestions?

rod knock?, timing belt pulley can be broken.
if it rattles while u drive, and idle, and its knocking, then its a rod knock.
i know because i just had the same problem and the motor gave out in 2 months
