I have kyb gr2 and no name coilover ( yea yea i know dont flame me I KNOW!)
Well the coilover came with 4 tapered rings that sit under the sleeve.
I was wondering if i had to remove my stock spring perches and these rings will be my new perches?
I have the rings sitting on the stock perches and the sleeve on top of that but the coilover is fully adjusted down and my car sits a same height as my old tein stechs, but i have to strut travel really.
Yes bump stop is cut down.
I was thinking that the rings it gave me would let the sleeve sit lower (with the stock perch removed) so the car is lower but i can raise the coil to still have the same lowering height but have more travel in the strut.
Also with the stock strut the sleeve does sit a little crooked even with the o-rings.

I had GR-2's and Megan Racing sleeve-overs and never had to cut the spring perches that where on em... i did eventually cut the spring perches on the 2 rear shocks so i could move the adjusters down a bit more but no cutting should be needed
