Unidentified car part falls off bottom of 95 Accord
Ok, so I just accidentally mounted a nasty big curb with my 1995 Accord, and heard a lot of scratching. I backed off the curb, and when I got out of my car I found the protective piece from under the bumper and a rectangular car part. I need to know what this car part is and what it does.
It's black, somewhat-rectangular, and has two ports on the top. It appears to be a tank of some kind, but is completely dry; it doesn't hold any fluid and no fluid spilled out of the car. It's also extremely dusty, probably just from being on the bottom of the car. On the neck it says "HONDA>PP<" and on one side it says "AR3 HONDA>PP~T<". Please, if anyone has any idea what part this is and how important it is, please let me know. The car still runs from what I can tell, but I'm afraid to drive too far until I know how serious this is.

If it came from the right side, I'm guessing it did.
It sounds like the air intake resonator box from the right bumper area, beneath the corner light.
Look in through the top of the engine bay at the air intake box and see if anything is beneath it.

But for that to fall off leads me to believe you have a bit more damage than you think haha. I'd have someone take a look at it.

for serious. I've scraped the crap out of the underside of my car, and my resonator box is pristine.
