Would my 1.5 hold a turbo? if so how much psi could i run?

I need to know about motor mods!!

if you have the money, swap the motor....you'll spend a lot of money on a little 1.5 to achieve a goal that could have been acomplished much cheaper with a motor swap

if you have enough and you dont want to swap the motor yourself the go to a shop, any b-series will be good, if you really have the money go k20 or h2b, how are you talking about having?
if i had an actual number then i could give you a better idea, how much power are you looking to make?

what model is you car
d16's are ok but for the same time and energy you will be able to put an ls fo like $40 more, for an ls into your car about roughly $400-500, so i would say stay away from sohc not really worth it in my opinion,
all you have to do is go to a local pick your part yard or ebay and get a pr4 ecu and get 4 fuel ingectors for obd0 and a reistor box little ridgged box in the drivers corner of the engine bay usually, every thing else will plug and play, except you have to switch 2 wires on the dizzy now it will run, get da manual axels and half shaft and shiftlinkages,
all that maybe $100 for a pick your part
this is really the best bang for your buck
p.s. you also need mounts, check ebay sometimes they have mount and axle combo deals

i say u swap and dont waste money on something thats not going to produce that much power. if your going to spend your money, save up and spend it right, it will pay off in the long run.

It is a 4-door the only reason i was asking was because my firend has a 1.6 vtec-e motor with trans for 500 the only problem is the hardness is a lil messed up.

its not a terible motor but my friend has one and he has tried to build it up and its not as fast as my other friends ls stock, so its not terible if your going to boost then sure but for the $ to HP argument there are some definite limitation to the singles

how much power are you looking to make, what do you plan to do with it

I just want some getup and go! i picked up the car today and it spin tires (a lil) in 1st and 2nd gear. from the looks of it that 1.6 will bolt right up. but for some reason i do have a ps pump on the stock motor. what will it take to put that 1.6 vtec in my car?
