Thank you, and please pass the word. We need everyone's support more than ever to get compact racing back like it used to be. I am going to be knocking out a flyer tommorrow and getting them printed too.

Well they may fit into Street Fighter without wheelie bars. If they have the headlight decals and such. But we want this class to be a high 8 sec - low 9 sec class pretty much

Well I can't believe this is the first class that I will fit in. At least NHRA will let everyone else in their classes except me with the lone AWD hot rod car. Not that my car has ever been competitive with the rest of the cars in my class. I may not win many but I sure do have fun losing. LOL

THANK YOU JASON

these events are intended for street cars thats why the rules are the way they are. although after talking with a pro recently we agreed that for these events inviting some pros out for some grudge racing would be a great attraction and something to really get the fans excited. with all the big name pros in this area its a no brainer for both parties.

Thats correct, we are really trying to keep the sport about the street cars, and not divide it up into too many pieces as far as classes. And have the look of how things began many years ago.

It looks like my car will meet all of the rules for street fighter.

At the BOTI @ MIR we went 12's and broke a rear and 2nd gear. At the Pan-Ams we got some things figured out and went 10.23 with nitrous and then went 9.91 without nitrous.

ALL Motor:
4-cylinder cars:
· Engine must be EFI. Any style intake is permitted (individual throttle bodies not permitted).· Motor swaps to bigger motors are permitted.
· Power adders are prohibited.
· All cars are limited to a maximum size of 25.0” x 9” slick or DOT slick, or any size DOT radial tire.
· Minimum Weight: B series and other series motors (2100 lbs) Minimum weights will be checked at random times during the event.
· Minimum Weight: K series motors (2300 lbs) Minimum weights will be checked at random times during the event.

So why no ITB and why so heavy for K-Series?

Hatcher is going 11.2 I think he has a chance, I bet he is #1 or 2 quailifier because of the weight penalty for K. But I'm not complaining or making excuses because I won't be there

yeah but how many other b series cars are running that quick?

this is why its a good idea to have a 2nd class w/ an index. so the average racer will come out and have a chance, and the big dogs can still run their et's w/o complaining about weight penalties and such. otherwise the same cars will continue to race each other and the lanes will never be full.

thats one car....and your still doubting him being number 1 qualifier with the weight penalty......i think you pretty much answered your own question

of all of the events ive been to over the years it seems Jason has always done the best job at making a rule book that makes the event better...and he does his homework before the rule book comes out. truthfully i think the weight penalty is perfect for leveling out the field. truthfully, as a spectator, im extremely excited to see how things pan out in the all motor class now!
