i will most likely be there for all motor.I might have missed it in the other threads but was there anything on rules and payouts for the street classes?

 

We will be there with our cars, all of them going back together as of now.

 

if i cant get the car ready in time for this im just going to sell it.


i think its important that this race has a good turn out since Jason is considering possibly turning it into a series for next year. everybody come out, bring your cars, bring your friends, bring your familes etc.

 

we are debating wether or not to bring the hotrod coupe. will there be any other "hotrod" cars in attendance ???

 

I'm hoping for Shawn to drive the laser for this event. After him running a 9.91 without nitrous at the Pan-Ams and pulling the chute early to avoid breaking out I'm hoping we have started to make strides in the right direction. I quess it will depend on what happens at the DSM Shootout next week.

That is exactly what i have been telling everyone, I have basically been begging everyone to come haha. We will be there for all motor, hopefully bringing 4 to 5 cars.

 

I'll get an update on Mike Brown later today. He lives close by.

i dont see any rules up on mir's site yet, but i believe they will be going off of the rules from world cup. basically for our class it would be the same as boti but add a muffler and possibly a weight min.

hopefully jason will have some rules posted soon. i will email him now

 

i plan on being there if i can get may POS back together

Going back together now, should be there with it, not too sure if they are gonna have a class for us.

I pray to god my car is ready. This should be the most improtant race of the year for all the the MD/DC/VA for reasons that turbo-charge stated. If I have to drive it 2.5 hours to the track, I will.

Yes you can run!! I think you will be in the all motor street class. Jason will have the rules up next week&gt; I think they will be similar to Import vs Domestic. Tell everyone to come, this will be a pilot race for something big next year.

 

This is gonna be awesome, can't wait to come and watch

just put a intake manifold on the car. the fastest car in the class still uses one. NHRA last year had the same no ITB rule.


sometimes you have to make changes to run different series. a lot of the turbo cars have different turbo's and sometimes even different manifold/intercooler set ups for the different series. changing that stuff and retuning is a lot more work than a all motor car!

im sure someobody could let you borrow an intake manifold. it would be awesome to have you out racing

i have a brand new Xcessive manifold for the Kseries he can borrow and buy if he likes it he can buy it
