Wheel Stud Install

I have the rear hubs off and the studs out I want to install new studs but i want to make sure they go in nice and straight.

I just use an open ended wheel nut and a thick washer to pull them through.

where do u put the washer, against the side of the hub under the lug nut pushing against the hub ?

Uh, yeah between the nut and the hub.
