Im putting a b16 cable trans on my b18c1 block. Anybody know what throwout bearing to use? The one I have on there isnt making contact with pressure plate. someone has to know i need help!

 

which b16 tranny do you have? i dont know if cable/hydro throw out bearings are different in anyway so you might be able to get one for a 99-00 si....if the throw out bearing is shot, you should replace the clutch since your gonna have it apart....just a thought

get the throwout bearing for a 90 to 91 da

 

the throwout bearing is not shot its just not hitting the pressue plate.

 

did you install the throwout bearing return springs correctly. They can be tricky to get into place. and no you don't need a tb from a DA. The throwout bearing should be the same as the clutch your using, and the clutch your using is pertinent to the transmission you have, not the engine it's bolted to.

 

how hard of a task is it to change the return spring? and also will gsr flywheel be fine with a b16 trans, clutch and pressurplate on gsr block?
