Default A/C idler pully.

One question, I've searched and haven't found anything about it yet. Ok, took off my A/C idler pully yesterday and opened it up and the bear was all ate up and what not, but the question I was gonna ask is if the A/C idler pully is seized up would it cause my A/C to blow fueses? Thanks in advance.

ehh, I don't think so. I could be wrong.

I know that if the idler pully seizes, your belt will be screaching against it, and eventually snap due to the friction. If your compressor were spinning too slow due to the added friction, it wouldn't engage. I don't see the relation between fuses and idler pully. Coincidence that both happened im guessing.
