white smoke off the exhaust / temp gauge issue...
k guys, first off i got a 96 integra ls, all stock.. car runs great with no problem. i noticed *white smoke coming out when i got my smog. failed at first, but second try, finally passed. what could it be?
also, my temp gauge is acting weird on me.. when warmed up, the needle begins to rise and stay in the middle like its suppose to, but when im on the freeway, the needle begins to point to COLD? keep in mind that there is no check engine light.
just a recap.... little white smoke coming out of the exhaust and lastly, weird temp gauge needle pointing to COLD when on the freeway..
but yeah.. any helpful input is greatly appreciated!!

Im not sure about your temp gauge. but white smoke means your burning a liquid most likely water or coolent. So you should check your coolant see if your burning any. Also check your oil for discoloration like milky or something.
your temp guage could be broken. mine did the same thing, never fixed it
find a junker sensor and replace it and check the wire leads. turn your car on and open the radiator cap, be careful, look for bubbles coming up from the radiator, sometimes theyll carry smoke out with them, or exessive bubbles, meaning coolant is getting out somewhere.
