My car is converted to obd1, I dont know if I can use a obd0 alternator on my obd1 setup? arent the plugs the same on the backs? will a obd0 b16 one work on my converted obd1 motor? I think I might have the old obdo on there I'm not sure though.

92-95 is obd1, do I have to use a b series strictly or can I use a d-series obd1?
Still need to know if the obd0 one will work? same plugs right?

obdo and obd1 alternators are the same, you can use either it wont matter, you cant use a d series one though

Actually with a little work you can.

There's also no need to dent the frame rail this way.

GENIOUS! Exclellent!
Everyone I have talked to said it would not work... I just did not know the difference. So the spacing diameter of the bolts is the only difference eh?
what an easy fix, i have a spare d series ready to go!
I am already running that same belt so I did'nt have to dent the wall, it clears by about 1/4".
Slebida!

I've got a d series alternator I wanted to run on my b series, but the pulleys are different. There were fewer ribs on the d series. You guys have this problem?
My belt has 4 ribs for the pulley same as the b series... Maybe IT GUY yours has a d15 b7? idunno, could simply switch the pulleys for your prob...
great with the pic's though^^^, now I know exactly where to notch it so I'm not there all day scratching my head!
