2000 gsr
So i may be getting a 2000 gs-r. It is super clean, bone stock, 73,000 miles, 18' rims and tires (brand new), with a warranty, for 8,770. I love this car, its what ive wanted ever since i got my 96 ls about a year ago. It is silver with a black interior. the only thing i dont like about it is the rims... but i can sell them. Anyway, i know that the 00-01 integras are a little different than the 94-99, but i really dont know what all is different. Can anyone help? Are they as good as all the other year integras?
if its what you really want go for it, ditch the 18's tho. its not really that different from the previous years (factory immobilizer is about it as well as leather interior was standard) and ya its just as good as a previous year too

I've also found some of the parts ie. exhaust, headers and even some intakes will differ from the 94-99 GSR's.. has something to do with the ABS and exhaust pipe lengths. But it's not a big deal.. just pay attention when you order stuff and that it will work with the 00-01's.. if not you may have some fitment issues. And yes, the hatch actuator will crap out as it did on my 00.. have to open the hatch with the key all the time now.

Yeah this is actually an interesting topic, I had no idea 00-01 where any different until I bought an Intake for my 95, it said it was for a 00-01 But I didnt know what could possibly be different, And I put it on and it seems to work fine, I did have to do a little customizing but nothing out of the ordinary for an after market part. I am interested more on the differences.

No big deal you just replace it, just as you would with every other part that craps out.
