Default Motor Oil

Is it better to run synthetic motor oil or regular motor oil. using the motor as a drag car and sometimes DD?

Too vague of a question. Synthetic is going to be better as far as protection in pretty much any case. However...decide if you need or want it. It's more expensive and will usually be more prone to leaking and entering the combustion chamber to be burned.

Drag racing isn't really very hard on the engine itself. It's more abusive on the driveline. If you think about it, even 100 passes at the strip equate out to about 25 miles of hard driving. Shouldn't be a big deal.
