My corner light blinkers dont work! All my other lights do, i.e( interior, headlight, high beams, bumper lights, parking lights, all my rear lights.) but not my corner light blinkers!! I checked the fuse, bulbs, plugs any suggestions?????

 

I had a problem with mine too, and I did not know what to do about it. However, when I replaced the control unit for my intermittent wipers (they were not working either), I found by accident that the corner signals are controlled by the same module, and they started working properly again.

Its a light gray box, a little bigger than the size of a deck of cards, on the back of the fuse panel under the dash. You can find them at the junk yard.

It looks like this:


And the problem is caused when the insides get too hot and burn up like this:


When you get a new one, be sure to get the one that goes with your trim level (DX/Si/HF)

 

Oh well! I tried everything, so im just going to go with my last resort and rewire the corner light blinker to the bumper ones!

 

I was in the same boat last week!! I just changed out that lil module in the post above on the fuse box an now they work like a charm!

all that is going to do is slow down your blinkers. instead of Blink-blink-blink its going to do bliiiink-----bliiiiink----- bliiink

 

well I ended up changing the module and still nothing so I rewired them to the bumper ones like I said and they work fine! ( blink. blink. blink.) they work just as if they were working fine! Thx a lot for all the help anyways!
