Extremely high-quality, high performance coilover systems for the most popular Japanese sport compact applications. High pressure, gas-charging, mono tube type shock absorber. Extra-thick piston rod design, coupled with innovative valving, allows a perfect balance between capable high-speed damping and low frequency smoothness. Also minimizes aeration and cavitation, even under extreme conditions.
* 10k spring rate in the front and 8k spring rate in the rear.
* 8 step dampening adjustment allows fine-tuning of overall suspension dynamics.
* Inverted strut system substantially enhances rigidity and heat dissipation.
* Includes high-quality pillow ball mounts.
* Adjustable, locking spring perch PLUS adjustable threaded shock body.
* Individual spring rates available for purchase separately.
* Integrated, rubber dust boots maintain performance and enhance durabilty
These RM/A8 Silk Road coilovers come from the factory nitride. Nitriding on the piston rod, the cylinder and the outer tube.
Merits of nitriding:
· Increased surface hardness
· Increased abrasion resistance
· Superior corrosion resistance
· Improved heat resistance (warping)
· Improved fatigue life of the metal
· Offers more benefits over processes such as cementation or induction hardening.
This suspension can also be fitted on EG with modification to rear lower control arms (grinding down the control arms to fit the bottom fork). Does not come with coilover adjuster wrenches.

I have these on my S14, very nice coils. 1000$ is a STEAL
The rates are usually setup more for street use on the shelf setup.
