My old sunroof is all rusted around the glass and the seals leak so it's causing rust inside my A pillars etc. I got a new sunroof glass. Any tips on installing it. I'd like to make this as painless as possible but I have a bad feeling...

 

ive never done it but you probably gota drop the headliner and the whole sunroof assembly to get the glass out.

 

Actually, I found you don't have too. There are bolts hiding under some rails under the glass. You can just unscrew and pop the glass out. 15 minute job.

 

how do u drop the headliner?

 

take off the plastic pillars like where a gauge pod would be remove there rear view mirror, and the interior light on the celing, along with the plastic trim piece that the light is on.

 

like are they screws or like clips? and should i be careful?
