Default Pics of my CRX

My wife and I went to look at this car saturday morning and after looking the car over and driving it, I went ahead and gave the man his money. Fun car, here are some pics:

Leather wrapped honda wheel... off of what? Sony CD player

Integra seats... both match perfectly, but both are driver side seats, razo? petal covers... need to be fully removed

Another shot of seats... full interior

del sol wheels and hub caps, all tires are brand new, just different brands, good for tire smoke, JDM hood, civic bumper?

other side... clean car, no rust

better view of hood and bumper and ugly blue honda emblem

rear view, big tip, exhaust has not catalytic converter, only a cherry bomb muffler, the car sounds like a weed wacker!

sticker on underside of hood

other stick on underside of hood

engine code

engine with extra bits and pieces, the header is suppose to be some sorta JDM high flowing something... I haven't really looked at it

adjustable cam gears... no idea what brand

another engine picture.

Don't be afraid to tell me anything about the car, I don't know much about it except that it's a blast to drive. The only other Hondas I've owned were both accords... I like this much better.

Oh yeah, forgot the important stuff, the car is an '89 EF, or at least it was. The engine was swapped in within the year. Looking underneath I can see sway bars... could be stock I guess, but the springs and struts are aftermarket. Car rides nice, it'll be my daily driver. Now I just need to find someone who wants to trade me a CF hood for my JDM hood! haha

15"ers will hopefully be coming soon, like I said, I think there are after market springs on the car, ride is a bit stiff and it corners awesome! I'll get around to painting the hood/bumper some day, and the faded blue Honda emblem will go bye bye. Are JDM hoods (like mine) rare?

I don't know what type wheel it is, I hope someone else can tell me. It is leather wrapped, the horn doesn't work. Is there a horn fuse in the car?

Is my timing belt cover cut, or is there another piece that goes over the top?

That's a great deal for $2,800. The HF is nice and light so it should be pretty quick. Enjoy!

I didn't know it was a GSR shifter! It's a little tall for me, kinda reminds me of the shifter in my F-150! haha

The age of the guy I got it from... here's the story, I bought it from a dealer, he knew the guy that built the car, it was that guy's project, then he started another project and sold the car to the mechanic at the dealer I got it from, this guy drove the car back and forth to work for about 5 months until he was clocked racing a guy one night doing 125mph... that brought him into a little legal trouble, so he sold it to the guy I got it from so he could have money to pay a lawyer.

This post was moved from the tech forum... my bad. Anyway, I just got the car and I'm finding out new stuff all the time, I've been told the shift **** is from a GSR and that the steering wheel is possibly a JDM Civic SiR wheel. Anything else you all see that I may not? Thanks.

id say get a black rear bumper to match the front and the hood.

i like old school white hondas with black unpainted bumpers and moldings.

with that black hood, it looks like a hachi go.

When you paint your hood, get some rims, your car would be nice! Carbon fiber's overrated! Use that cash for paint on the hood, some new go-fast trinkets, or a set of rims!
