Changing fork seals. Questions about fork oil.
I'm going to finally change the fork seals that have finally collapsed on my bike. I was wondering about the oil weight I should use. I have found many info on the net, but most of it was for race/track application.
For a 80% street/commute, 20% canyon/track use, in roads that are far from ideal (very bumpy) what oil weight would you guys recommend? I was thinking going with 10w, sounds like a nice balance between performance and comfort, right?
Also, I have found Bel-Ray fork oil for sale here locally (not many options for imported products in here), but I have read mostly bad reviews from that particular brand. Any opinions?
Thanks /26

I hate you. I just wanted to change my leaking fork seals and put fresh oil, but after looking at that site, I want to get some suspension goodies. Damn you!

Well if you're changing the oil anyways, you may as well put some Gold Valves or Cartridge Emulators in. I mean, you already have it apart right?

LOL the thing is that I would have to spend my precious dollahs and wait at least a couple of weeks for parts to arrive.
I can't stand that long with my bike torn apart. It's hell.
This is the product page for my bike. What would you recommend me? I'm not too knowledgeable in bikes suspensions.

I've actually never used their products personally, but have always heard good things. Have you tried looking around on forums where your model of bike is popular?

Yes, and it actually has the same engine and shares a lot of parts with the CB-1, which if I'm not mistaken, was sold in North America.
It shares common parts with a lot of Honda bikes (Even distant cousins like the Goldwing, ST1100, etc), but mostly with F2/F3's and older Hornets.

Do you have a Honda dealer locally where you can buy Honda/Showa fork oil? Honda sells both 5W and 10W (they call it "suspension fluid").
