I get a little bit of a rough idle once in a while, im not a racer just a guy that loves rex's and wants a nice daily driver.

what do you think are the three main reasons of a rough idle?

ps: i just put in a new fuel pump myself and i have a new o2 sensor but the header heat plate is causing me problems, its sorta rusted heh.

there are so many threads on this already man. Do alittle work "search" and then ask questions later.

 

I did search lazy ***, there wasn't anything specific like I was wanting. Don't post if ur not going to help.

 

dont ask stupid questions, if you did search like you said you did. thenyou would know what causes rough idle in these cars.

 

clean your iacv(idle air control valve)it's at the back of your intake manifold,maybe new sparkplugs as well gl.

 

Ok so I have some questions about injectors. Very ez ones actually, I'm thinking about getting new ones. What is a good company and what is a usual high quality price range?

I cleaned out my throttle body, and put some fuel injecter cleaner in my tank. Working on my idle air

 

spark plugs?

 

naw spark plugs are about 4 weeks old.

 

well then, it's a mystery

 

buy new spark plug wires.

that smoothed out my idle after cleaning my injectors, replacing spark plugs and new cap and rotor and setting my timing to stock.

 

yea ima look into those, i did get this fixed though. i took the t body of and scrubbed that mother out good lol. ima get new injectors and wires though. good wire suggestions? and injector suggestions? im runnin a single zc
