85 civic ??????is thereany thing ican do

i bought an 85 civic 1500 hb for like a grand it is in excellent condition but i wanna know if i can swap parts or say F*** it and swap the motor for a newer one

any help would be appriciated

You can put an engine from an 86 - 87 Acura Integra. I think that you have to use the transaxle from the Integra, also. The only problem is going to be the wiring for the fuel injection if your car has a carburetor. A B - series engine will also fit but you will have to use custom engine mounts from HASPORT or the like. Wiring will also be a pain for this swap.
