So all of them were pretty worn for some reason and melting them down seemed like it wasnt enough, so i melted rosin all around them and it made it look like a hershey kiss lol... no more brown rings no more cracks finally... let you know how it goes...suppoese to be hot next few days

Default FV-QR

I'd rather replace the main relay and not get stranded on some hot *** day waiting for my car to start.

I agree. WHile it was in my hand I put a HONDA brand new Mitsuba one back in haven't had a days problem. Makes no sense to keep going back in and repairing it. What about when the coil driver burns up in the relay? soldering won't fix that!

If you do it right there will be no need to redo it.
