need help with my suspension
I have a 1996 honda civic ek hatchback. I have stock suspension on it now but the springs were cut so its lowered. And I took it to emissions and they said they can't put it in a dyno because its too low. Where can I find a stock suspension to raise the car back up?
thank you for your help.
thank you for your help.
Take it to a place not using equipment from the 80's? Not that I'm saying you shouldn't get off of those cut springs, but to spend money on new springs, labor to install them, and then an alignment just so that you can get your car on one shop's dyno for a once-a-year emission's test seems silly.
Funny thing is the guy who was doing my emissions test didnt even tell me it was the suspension. but obviously it was. He tried to tell me it was my tires so I would of had to buy tires of him.

While I'd say get rid of the cut springs regardless that shop should be avoided, post up a want to buy in the market place, i'm sure someone will give you a set for dirt cheap if anything.
Or plunk down get some springs and shocks or a coil over kit.
Either way, I doubt it's really more then that shop being shady.
