Default 89 hatch motor swap...

hey guys... i have a 89 civic hatch w/ a stock d15b1 ( i think) and have been really getting mixed answers on what swap is the EASIEST and CHEAPEST. I might like a dohc motor, and run a turbo set-up on it later as well... ive been hearing Ls motor for swap, is it good? basically needing something just as a fast daily driver. Thank you very much in advance!!!

ls is great in hatches, and if you boost it later its cool because you can always find them for cheap if you blow them

if you want cheap and dohc go for a ZC, an LS will cost more. First off do a mpfi swap like yesterday, you'll need to anyway and it'll make the b1 a touch less anemic.

nothing just mpfi(from dual point) and you plug and play then same for ls plus mount and axles and linkage, but its worth the extra $200 or so
my buddy had a DOHC ZC, now he has d16z6,i would suggest this though single vtec has more power and better top end and more options, but if you are going to do that then do the ls it will be less work
just my $.02
