swaybar setup???
So i have asked this same question in the suspension forum. But thought that i would ask it here since it pertains more to roadracing and what have you.
Ok so on my civic right now i have a rear swaybar of 24mm and i want to put on a front 22mm swaybar.
Just wondering if anyone in here could tell me what kind of drive this might give.
I assume oversteer which is what you want in roadracing right.

To fully answer your question of understeer/oversteer there are quite a few other factors that you need to include.
1. Front and Rear spring rates, and for corner entry and exit considerations you need to know what shocks are on the car.
2. Alignment including static toe, camber, and caster.
3. For high speed driving, also you need to mention if you have splitter/airdam and/or what type of wing if any.

short answer, no.

Sort of. But if you don't have a specific behavior of the car you're looking to change, don't do it. Throwing a competitive race setup on a car without the knowledge of how to drive such a setup is really a bad idea. So while it might really BE what is wanted in legitimate racing, it's probably not what YOU want.
But it doesn't matter anyway, because of Lo-Buck's answer
