Default HELP URGENT 90 crx WONT Start

i was coming home from work when all of a sudden car turned off on me ....i got a tank of gas and just replace the spark plugs and wires........also hear the two clicks which is the main relay and fuel pump......after trying and trying it kicked back on like nothing happened.......this morning i went to autozone for oil,o2 sensor, and a fuel cleaner....now when i came back and let it sit to warm up more a bit it turned off again.....untill once again it turned back on but only this time when ever i push on the brakes the idle goes down,i also turned on the lights....and the hazards....but when i turned on the heater the car turns off.......im also getting a code 20......could this be a faulty battery.........the car does turn over no problems

Dude... first of all calm down and learn to spell. Next, make sure there is a good ground (clean metal to metal contact, no broken off wires, ect) at your thermostat, valve cover to header panel, under the steering column, by each headlight, and transmission to body. Then go ahead and check all the fuses under the hood and under the dash. Hopefully this should solve your problem man.

u hear two clicks and its the fuel pump and main relay? unless you worded your sentence weird, you are wrong wrong wrong.

the double click = main relay
check engine light and that 1/2 to 1 second hum = fuel pump

are u getting the hum or not?

this actually just happened to me a month ago, but i was prepared. i bought the fuel pump and main relay early cuz i was waiting for them to go out lol

so you just replaced the alternator? If so I would focus on it.

and the other electrical problems sounds like some plugs may have been mixed up on the dash fuse panel or maybe the brake light bulbs are shorting out, or they could be the wrong type of bulb (single VS dual filiment) causing it to short out and send power back to the cluster.

I take it that you are trying to sell it now, just realize it will be tough to sell in that condition, so you might as well try to fix it, unless your giving it away.

and you should edit that description to reflect that the motor is not running it needs work.

you have to remember its a 18+ year old car. They are all going to have problems unless you take the time to completely rebuild them. I drive mine daily but its not my main mode of transportation so if it breaks down its not a big deal. You should keep it and buy something eles to drive while fixing the honda. These cars are pretty easy to figure out as long as you have done some research.

Dude Nissans are a lot worse than Hondas! I have had plenty of both and Nissans break a lot more often and cost more money to fix! Good luck.

Just to comment on the general condition of used cars, it seems like when cars develope problems the owners just give up on them and put it up for sale. They never end up getting fixed. thats why buying another used car is just as sketchy, its always a gamble.

96civic, it looks like you might have bought somebody's old project car (primered, body kit) so I can sympithize with you being sick of it.
and for being pretty honest in you description of the car unlike alot of people.
