Default Which aftermarket header will bolt up to my Stock Catalytic Converter for a 00 GSR?

hello iv'e been looking for a header for my 2000 Integra GSR but so far most of the ones i found have the 2.5 collectors flange. I just want one that bolts on to my stock CAT. I've been looking at the DC headers but not sure if those will bolt on to my Stock Cat, cuz i dont want no big paychecks from getting pulled over. i just need a name of the header or a site that i can order one from thanks to all those that reply

I have a DC 4-1 header and it bolted right up to the stock cat. You might also want to get a new gasket for where the header meets the cat as well as a header gasket.

There should be a header thread on here somewhere.. I recall reading one a while back.

JDM ITR header comes in 2.5 inches and will NOT bolt onto your stock cat. So the previous comment about the header being 2.25.

Any 94-01 integra header will fit...

except for a header designed for a 94-99 GSR (too short), and JDM type R which is 2.5"

This is assuming you're buying a header designed to bolt right up. Most online retailers will let you enter your car info to tell you what will fit. Get part numbers of the headers you are interested in, then search for those and find the best price.

Use caution when buying online that the retailer ACTUALLY HAS THE ITEM IN STOCK AND READY TO SHIP. I went through hell trying to buy a DC header for my GSR because websites LOVE to process your order, THEN tell you the part is on backorder. DC has just recently been bought out so be careful when ordering their stuff. If a retailer doesn't have it there, they wont be getting it soon.

There's probably a few that have it.

1: Decide on which header you want.
2: Find it from 3 or 4 places with a decent price.
3: Email them all and find out who actually has it ready to ship.
4: Buy that ****.

search around here, I picked up a Comptech 4-2-1 for my GSR and absolutely love it. It cost me about 300 shipped. I personally think DC headers are pieces of ****. I have seen two personally fail on friends cars, and not stand the test of time.

agree, don't buy DC when better choices exist for the same price. comptech, edelbrock and greddy are all $300 and better pieces than the DC

why get a header to increase exhaust flow and not replace the cat. You are wasting your money, 2.5 from the cat back ftw
