2 Q's no spark and what's the diff JDM type R and GSR
first, here's a vid link to what i was doing with a bad GSR motor. this puppy only had 15psi in the cylinder i was messing with. when i pushed that plug back on the motor died and no spark ever since. what could get fried by doing this? the coil seems to be close to spec. can you take out an ecu or ignitor with spark wires grounding out on the block?

second, what are the differences between the JDM type r and GSR engines? both say b18c correct? is it similar to USDM differences? i'm very firmiliar with those.

Yes, the differences between the SiR-G and ITR motors would be the differences between GSR and ITR motors.
