i cant determine if its my tranny or driveshaft. there is something loose in there. like when i let go of my clutch fast or when i dont smoothly clutch in/out, i feel a shake from right under. ive jacked up the car and twisted the driveshaft...driveshaft was loose. then another person quoted "most likely it is just the gears in the transmission/diff meshing together. some play in the rotation aspect is normal. "

anyone have an idea?

Seeing you have a 2001 model, did you ever fix the TSB054 for the transmission? The 00-01s had issues with the clutch rattling between 3-4k on deceleration. I have an 01 and have that issue... awaiting clutch replacement when I have more time.

 

didnt get that fixed. i got that clutch buzz, to my dismay. but i kinda find it soothing sometimes.. like an exhaust note ;D

still! id like to know more about the question i asked. anyone familiar?
