New track times and ramblings...
See here for my previous runs...

Anyway. I installed my Hallman boost controller and cranked up the boost to 10psi. Or so I thought. I set the boost controller on a back road near me, but never really got on it. While at the track above by 5000rpms my boost would dip down to 7psi and in 4th gear it never rose past 7psi
Yesterday, I traced the problem to the wastegate/boost controller signal. I previously had it tapped at the nipple on the compressor outlet. By moving the signal source to the manifold I now have stable boost readings in all gears and all rpms
I know, not really amazing stuff, but whatever. So, without further ado...

Nitto 555Rs @16psi; burn-out in box and dry burn/hop after
60'...2.17
330...5.953
1/8...9.069
mph...79.48
1000...11.741
1/4...13.895
mph...100.77
cam gear at 0*
ign. timing @16*BTDC
BTM @.3*/psi
93 octane
I really HATE this DX tranny. 4th gear absolutely sucks
Mathmatically, I could take 4th up to 123mph. Oh well, it'll be replaced eventually.
Next time at the track (with 98 ocatane)...runs with a full 10psi
(maybe 12psi if I'm feelin' ballsy
)
