Default GSR Swap bog

well i have a 94 ls body but just got a 96 gsr swap
it was running kinda slow like a month ago
so i started gettin into it, i looked around i asked people at work.(i work at lexus)
and ive tried just about everything
the problem is when i am driving it runs ok when cold but when warms up
and reaches about 3500rpm it bogs and feels like a misfire but i just kinda has
a jerk forward motion to it
ive tried keeping the second stage open
ive tried replacing the map sensor
ive checked the cam timing.
i dont know how to check the ignition timing if anyone knows how to do that
and also im about to gut out the convertor
but ive looked into about everything and asked people that know about everything
ive even let them drive it and see
they say it feels like the fuel pressure is off but its not
i mean its alittle high but it wont do what its doing from that
i just dont know i need help bad

I have the very same problems just like you. the motor drives fine when is cold after 20-25 miles it will bog. I tried replacing the fuel filter, spark plugs, injectors but is still the same. I think it might be my spark plug wire, coil, map sensor, or a slow reaction O2 sensor...I'll tried to replace those parts later on this week. But lets keep each other updated to see what is causing this problem...

Be sure you did the OBD conversion right. Do you have a cel?

Sounds like an ignition problem. Try doing a full tune up (plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fuel filter)

I wish checked everything 1 by 1 to tell what actually fixed the problem but I was

running into EXACTLY the same issues and when I did a carbon clean ,replaced oil,

plugs, wires, cap and rotor, dizzy, pcv, fuel filter, adjusted valves ,cleaned fast Idle

valve, cleaned Idle control valve and advanced the timing to 18 the car just ran like a

Benz oh man the difference of my life. If I had the chance to go back in time id go

and change all the parts 1 at a time to avoid paying to much(all of the above costed close to $400).has been problem free since(12000 miles)
