Take a picture of the engine bay and post it so we may better help you please.

Also, what ECU do you have?

If you could answer these, we will definitely be able to help you.

If you motor is actually a D15b than it should have a VTEC solenoid, without that oil will be shooting out of the head. So if you are not experiencing that problem you might not have a D15b. But like "BlackoutVTi" said, take a picture of your engine bay and we can help you better.

For your ECU there are a few choices. But to save the big head aches the easiest method for a plug and play is to get an unchipped "P28" You can see by looking on the model number of the ECU, It should say somewhere in the code "P28" The "P28" ecu comes off USDM 92-95 Honda Civic Si/Ex

I THINK I FOUND THE V-TEC SOLENOID. ON THE D15-B ENGINE.

SO IF THIS IS THE SOLENOID ALL IT NEEDS IS THE ECU?

RITE NOW IT HAS OLD ENGINE ECU WHICH WAS OF A D15-B7 ENGINE?

Thats a D15B vtec alright. Try to get your hands on a P28 ECU, they can be pricey, but if you look around sometimes you can get a good deal on them.

Edit, forgot to add, yes that is the vtec solinoid, it it was a DX/LX then yes the ECU was for a D15B7. just swap it out for a P28 and as long as the previous owner wired everything right vtec should work.
