OK before anyone says anything i've searched. CRX wireharness, CRX wire Harness, Wire Harness in archived, and recent search. i came up with lots of stuff i went over, but none of them pertained to the question i am going to ask.

I have an 88 crx dx, and I am gutting everything out ready for painting and putting everything back in once it is painted. I want to know what harnesses will mate with what. I know the engine harness has to match the cabin harness. what about the lighting harness. from the diagram i have seen it comes in 3 pieces. I want to know which will work. I am planning on going mpfi since i am taking everything out i was going to buy Si versions, and if i can save a little cash by not adding the 3rd part of the harness it would be sweet. if not oh well buy it all.

 

your best bet is to buy it all. ive messed with a few full harnesses where i didnt have the full thing and it seems the plugs changed with the years and the models but some where the same on one i ended up cuttin part of it off and soldering the right one on. others i got lucky and plugs matched up. but to save the headache get a complete body harness make sure you get the dash harness too.

 

yah i was planning to buy the whole thing. if needed. just wanted to make sure the 3rd harness is or not year specific. I guess i will buy it all once i finish painting my car.
