Default p/s pump bracket

i have a question, I recentlly removed my p/s pump, lines etc. but i noticed that the bracket that holds the pump in place is bolted on to the engine on one end and the mount on the other. i wanted to remove it and since im not using it anymore but i dont know if i can and not efect the way the engine mounts, i know that the bottom mount witch is allso the a/c compressor bracket is there but is it enoughto hold the engine in place? its a d16z6 engine, and did the engines that came originally with no p/s have this bracket? thanks for all your help

You don't need the PS bracket. It only supplements the rigidity of the driver side cast mount. Many engines don't even have this style of PS bracket.

As long as you leave the driver side engine mount, nothing will be affected. Like I said, there are many D series cars that don't even come with that style mount or PS for the matter.
