Default Type R piston Question!

Will a type R piston be stamped 'P73" or anything like that. and will it fit on a gsr crank? is it just a straight swap out? or do i need to do any modifications>?

I searched for : pistons, P73, Type R piston, and i got no results....

You'll either see P73 A01 or you'll see P73 001 on the top of the piston. There will be a noticeable dome as well.

Don't waste your time on ITR rods. If your going to do a build, figure out what your trying to achieve before you buy the wrong parts. Most builds can be fashioned with Eagles or some other equivalent. you should go with a set of overbored pistons, so you can get a fresh bore and hone. They sell oversized JDM ITR pistons all over the place. If you drop in a set of JDM ITR pistons your compression should be in the mid 11.6 range. Which is plenty fine for daily driving on premium pump gas.

if your going for higher compression i would use the jdm p30 pistons they'll probably be cheaper too.

Show me where you can get p30 for less than $160 shipped with rings and wrist pins. Also, do you even know what the OP's CR goal is? Do you know what CR P30's in his build would yield, we don't even know what head the OP is using, if its been milled, if the block is decked, etc.
