i actually really like everything that i have done to my car, the photos dont do it justice and it looks better in person imo. i think it makes it look unique and different than most other si's. like someone said before, all that matters is that i like it. and i do, maybe i have bad taste? but random people give me compliments and say what a good looking car. even in the tuner community. this is my first honda and i think im doing a damn good job for being 20 and having a limited amount of money to work with. everytime i get in my car and drive it i love it more and more. sorry you people dont like it.

 

I remember how hard of a time I had fixing up my car when I was 20. Props for having the ***** to put up more pictures after getting the **** flamed out of you the last time.

Hey, someone mentioned you got flamed on your last Thread, so I went to go spy on you. I guess everyone hates your rims I also noticed you giving a bit of a background about how you are a broke-*** college student and that you're doing your best with what you got. You shouldn't feel like you have to justify your wheel choice or style direction or whatever to anyone. Like you said, it's your car and you like it so that's all that matters.
When I was your age, I wasn't even thinking about spending money on cars, I was too busy partying n beatin my POS 87 325is. I was a couple of years older than you when I got my 00 SI, but took my time. I wasn't really in a rush, because I bought it with minor mods and I really beat it for a couple of years and then decided I was ready to commit and do my own thing. BUT, during that time........ if you had seen all of the pics and **** that I was saving onto my comp at the time.... all the pics of what wheels I wanted, photos of other cars that were my "inspiration", **** on Ebay that I wanted... pics of all the stuff I wanted to do, but ended up not doing.... I look back at it now and think to myself, "WHAT THE [freak], WOW thank god I didn't do that..." My point is, take your time. Don't settle for less than what you want. Save up. Your tastes will definately change as time passes- I know mine did. I'm glad I didn't do any of the **** that I wanted to when I first got my car....(I thank God EVERY DAY) because it would have been a waste of money for me. But YAH, don't "settle" for something you don't really want, especially if you don't have money to waste. Take your time, have fun

Needs an OEM lip kit, the wheels aren't my cup of tea, but they're not ugly imo.

Also, that's not your valve cover lol. Calipers look alright though.

It's a good start. Don't take too much offense to us. We will rip you apart mentally.

 

Wheels are hideous. Stock looks waaaaayyyy less 1999.

Intake manifold cover looks good.

 

dont take what people say personally..all it being said, most of us have been in the same boat, the only difference, you have a great slate to work off of.

Yes it's true, it's what you like! It's just your on ADR wheels. If your on volks wheels or something along those lines, you comments wouldn't be as bad.

If your a broke college student, a lot of us here know how it's like. We strive for top of the parts. You got some nice stuff on your car just ADR wheels what kills and the paint parts don't really bother us but you showed it so we commented.

You will always have people who bash because we all have different taste.
