prelude will not start
Battery is tested and fine
Starter is tested and fine
Car DOES have an aftermarket sec. system (viper)
Car will not turn over, has been this way since clutch replacement. It is not the pedal swtich, fuel pump turns on.
Any help would be just grand, I miss my car.

Check the alarm system. I had issues with my car alarm not allowing me to start the car. What happens whenyou turn the key? If nothing at all happens id say its the alarm system.
BTW I checked the ECU fuse, and even swtich ECU's, no dice. I know nothing of the sec. system it was in the car when I bought it. Can you explain why you think it is this, I saw it might be an issue but I dont know why. Where do I look? Thanks a million man, I am so frustrated.

oh sorry, absolutly nothing engine wise. No cranks. I do get dash lights and can hear the fuel pump prime.
a clue: The car ran (shitty) after the clutch was installed, but not for long. It stalled out and a harness under the hood was burned up. I fixed the harness but it still get hot.

I solved the problem, it was the starter fuse located underneath the steering column. power wasnt getting to the starter. It runs now but I have to put everything back in place to drive it, I am sure there will be some more hiccups along the way but I will make a separate post.
