what all is needed to swap in gsr tranny instead of ls
i have a eg with a 2000 ls swap. im planning a non-vtec all motor build. i want to get a gsr transmission but i am not sure what is all needed. i see alot for sale on ht and craigslist.
the question is what do i need to get the transmission working in there. will i need new mounts, cables, clutch or anything. or would it be pretty much buy the tranny and bolt her in. do i need any additional parts. thank you.
does it matter what year the gsr trans is.

Just the tranny. but while your in there why not replace the clutch. the first year of gsr is 93 and i'm pretty sure thats hydraulic. so from 93-01
