Need advice on purchasing this trans...*Worth it* and Compatibility?

I am comtiplating on buying a transmission that has a mixture of b16 and gsr gears inside. I have a 97' RS now and the catch is that the transmission has a cracked case. Will my case be interchangable to make it work if it is a b16 case? I don't know if it is a b16 case but if it is, it seems like Honda does not have the case separate for sale.

Also, what should I check when inspecting the transmission? I know what the "dog teeth" and synchros are supposed to look like, but anything in particular? Ty in advance.

save your money and just buy a tranny that is in good running condition. itll be worth the money. and get either a GSR tranny or a B16 tranny for that RS. cuz who knows if the guy is trying to dick you and the gears are all outta whack... like a long first gear and a short 2nd gear etc haha
