P73 head, what does it come on???
I got a P73 head and was told it was a B16. But im not sure if its a JDM B16B or if its a type R. Is there any really way to tell the difference or tell exactally what it came off of? Thanks Guys

On the exhaust manifold side, on the left there are two numbers within a circle. The far left has something like "9|8", this is the year of your head. Report back with what year.

Honda never made a head with P73 stamped on it. The ITR and CTR used a PR3 casting just like the normal B16A. Here is an old FS thread of mine with pictures and ID for a Type R head. I do not know if the pictures still work.

the dogginator is right..all type R heads are stamped PR3 and GSR are P72. only thing on a block that would say P73 would be the Intake Manifold on an Integra type R motor.
