b18c1 intake man vs header
i say get a nice header if you have the money. not a $200 ebay header. something quality built.
you would see more gains with the intake manifold if you had cams and things like that.

I'm looking for better gains. If the intake manifold is better way to I'll go but what you said about havin internal, will I still see good gains at all if i got the intake? or would I see better gains from header. I'm waiting on the skunk2 to headers to come out though.

To pull on any subby you need boost.. If you plan on going this route dont bother wasting money on a header. Invest into a nice turbo kit and you will get everything you need..

Hmm... that kinda sucks I like the N/A way but boosting murders. How much money do you think I need to go N/a? To do what I want with it Also what is a good turbo kit for the money?

yeah you wont see any gains without running either crome, or hondata or any ecu management program.... You need to tune for power. It isnt something that comes along with the changing a part as you think..
The stock ECU is designed for factory peak performance, not for what your doing to the car. You need to dynotune/ or streetune for optimum power.
(perferably dynotune)

What is a good program? I know i need to get a obd1 ecu for tuning(programs aswell) from what I'm told. I didnt think I would need a hondata etc., for bolt on's like you said need to get away from factory settings.

if your going all motor Hondata S200 would be fine, but if your going boost Id look at Hondata S300. Also you dont really need them for minor mods such as an intake and so on, but when you start doing the IM, The header, and you wanna dig further in such as cam gears and so on.. it becomes more essential.
