1995 Civic DX Engine Idle Problem
I have a '95 Civic that has problems idling. It generally only happens when the car is warm, but it does seem to happen other times as well. The car seems to idle fine, but then it will miss occasionally. It was much worse, and the car would die altogether. I replaced the fuel filter, spark plugs, and wires. It got much better and almost disappeared when I put in the spark plugs, but the problem seems to have not gone away altogether. I have also tried fuel injector cleaner, and "heat" in case I got some bad gas.
One other thing I didn't mention was that it had been missing (until I replaced the spark plugs) when the car was at lower rpm going up hills, but when it would downshift so the car was using higher rpm, it wasn't a problem.
Any ideas?
