Default Someone to reprogram my ECU with Mugen N1 specs ??

I know there are a few people out there doing this. I am looking for someone who can reprogram my 2001 USDM ITR's ECU with the Mugen N1 ECU specs for a reasonable price and who can back his work up; I don't want a $30 "chipper" that will make my car inexplicably cut-off at 4000RPMs : I've seen it happen!! So, I'd like to hear from people who have had their ECU's reprogrammed and their experience with the tuner ... Would you recommend them ?? Like I said, there are a lot of people out there doing this kind of job and I just need a little feedback to decide who to send my ECU. Thanks a bunch !!!

You cannot reprogram your ECU because it's OBD2 (and a half)...

What most people would recommend is a chipped P28 ECU and a harness conversion. Kenji's setup yielded the same peak power with this mod, but a TON better midrange...

Yes, you can reprogram the OBD2 (and a half) ecu. If you know how to repgrogram (not just copy chips) OBD1 ecu you can do them all. The problem is the actual chip is harder and a lot more expensive to obtain (Plus the fact that it is one time burn, you make a mistake and you ruin an expensive chip), not to mention the specialized chip burner for the OBD2 chip (which few people actually have).
