Id like to find some nice tires and slap them on my steelies, lets say 195/55/13 and son on...Ive searched quite a bit through tons of tire sites, and I cant seem to find any good tires in that size. Specifically tires with a lower profile. Any advice? Thanks

i had some cooper cobra gt's in 195-60-13 that were pretty good. they weren't loud and the treadwear was like 400.

id be wary putting a 195 on anything less than a 6" wide rim tho. most 13" steelies arent more than 5".

i forgot to mention that i had them on 13x7.5's

For the street HTR-200s are great 13" tires. Most of the vintage Triumph and MG folks I know swear by them.

Do you guys think a tire size 175/50r13 would look alright on 13" steelies? Sumitomo has the HTR200 in that size, weighs 12.8 lbs. I wonder if it would work on the HX rims.
