ecu help after searching.
so i searched for a while and here it goes:
i have a dohc zc in my hb si. i have the pm6 ecu. ive read that the pg7 would be better and the pm7 being optimal, but having a speed limiter. so can somone clarify the problems with switching to pg7? ive heard a slew of problems ranging from codes to idle and not running all together. my car runs fine and no codes at all so i dont want to put something in that will make it run like crap.
also im losing brake pressure and im wondering if it has something to do with the vacuum connection that i plugged on the top center of the intake manifold.
phew.

I had a dohc ZC in a 91 hatch with a PM6. I switched to a PG7 and I never got a Cel. Mine ran fine. Of course, every application is different. It seems gremlins follow some cars. If your interested, I have a PG7 on egay right now, from a 1989 teg 5 speed. # 220262834161 If you are happy with your set up the way it is, leave it alone. As far as the brakes, it sounds like you either have a leak somewhere or the M/C is going bad. Try bleeding the brakes. The only hose that would affect the brakes is the one that goes to the booster behind the master cylinder. Of course, check pad and shoe thickness.
The large center one on the front engine side goes to the egr valve and the one on the right goes to the fuel pressure reg.
