Airbag replacement confusion
I am about to replace the airbags in a US built 04 Civic 2 door coupe without side airbags. When I see airbags for my year listed on E-Bay no one designates if they are for a coupe or 4 door. I believe there is a difference in at least the drivers side bag. Usually the part numbers they provide for the drivers bag DO NOT match mine and the pics show a slightly different shaped bag.
My drivers side bag is part number 77800 s5a a112 m1.
The sellers usually tell me the control modules are all the same, but my module number doesn't usually match. [ mine = 77960 s5a a871 m1]
Can anyone tell me what is going on?

Don't buy the replacement part unless the part number matches what you're replacing.
